Ever since Mariah Carey married boyfriend Nick Cannon in May 2008, their relationship has elicited a ton of skepticism. The over-under on their marriage was six months at the most, and their shelf life was so short that media outlets didn’t even bother to combine their names into a catchy uber-term.
