Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: Is This 4 Real?
What do you think?
Ever since Mariah Carey married boyfriend Nick Cannon in May 2008, their relationship has elicited a ton of skepticism. (After all, they were only dating for a hot second before they decided to take the plunge. In a hurry, much?) The over-under on their marriage was six months at the most, and their shelf life was so short that media outlets didn’t even bother to combine their names into a catchy uber-term. (See: TomKat, Speidi.)
Since Mariah decided against a pre-nup, many disregarded their pairing as nothing more than a “Sugar Mama” situation. Some claimed Nick spent more time with Mariah’s credit cards than with her. Others felt it was a publicity stunt to promote the four movies Nick had out that year (yeah, we can’t seem to remember them, either) and the release of her album “E=MC2″ (coincidentally, Nick appeared as the love interest in one of her videos.)
Check out Moonit’s assessment of another superstar music duo.
But now that the marriage has been on and strong for nearly eighteen months–an eternity in celebdom–and baby rumors are running rampant, Moonit goes behind the music to see if this thing is fo’ real. Oddly enough, Moonit’s relationship compatibility assessment shows the two are able to use their decade-wide age gap to their advantage, and their romantic potential is through the roof (Say what? Yeah, we were pretty shocked, too.)
Find out what’s going on with your relationship.
According to their birth date analysis, these two “naturally exude an incredibly positive energy whenever they’re together.” It’s a pretty awesome vibe that inspires anyone within ear shot to get going on their next big project. That’s because Mariah can bag the bad stuff and revel in Nick’s finer qualities (like that six pack of abs he’s got goin on.) At the same time, Nick’s not only great at showering Mimi with serious PDA, but he’s genuinely concerned about her well-being, too.
When we check out their friendship and long-term relationship potential, we find that “not even the network can break these two up.” Don’t get us wrong; they’re going to be hitting both high and low notes in their relationship, but they’re good at handling those issues in a thoughtful, sensitive way. Their analysis reveals that Mariah offers Nick “the kind of security and maturity he craves, while he boosts her self esteem with his respect and dedication.”
Plus, their determination and perseverance point towards big-time success when they collaborate professionally. We can’t promise these two won’t fall off the crazy train that is celebrity life, but we can say for certain that their relationship isn’t just a publicity stunt.

Why are people is always in other people business or giving negative response to life issues concerning someone else? If everybody take the time to get their own business in order, they wouldn’t have time to be giving out negative vibes about other people. Get your own life in order! If Mimi and Nick wanted to get married, no one has to deal with their issues, BUT them. Get a LIFE people and leave people along!!!

I don’t think Mariah actually sleeps with this dude. My bet is she sleeps with a giant stuffed doll that is made to look like herself while this dude plays nintendo in the other room.
